Leez Priory Wedding Videos: March 2018

Leez Priory wedding videos are always stunning so I was excited to be filming there! What an absolutely lovely wedding day for such a lovely couple out in the glorious Essex countryside. On March the 23rd, it was our pleasure to be able to capture Gemma & Ryan’s wedding day on video for them at the magnificent Tudor manor that is Leez Priory, just outside of the Chelmsford/Braintree area and just over an hour away from Central London. It was my first time filming at Leez Priory and I can’t wait to be back there later this year! It’s also worth mentioning that this was my first wedding film of 2018 following on from the last wedding season.

Due to the grand size of Leez Priory, it’s unsurprising that there are seven beautiful ceremony rooms which couples can choose to tie the knot in. Gemma & Ryan chose ‘The Great Hall’ which features charming beams with a feature fireplace.

We were greeted with reminiscences of the ‘Beast from the East’ which in turn, made for some fantastic establishing shots of Leez Priory in addition to special shots of the newlyweds. A big shout out must go to Gemma in particular who embraced the freezing temperatures which enabled us to get those shots of her in her dress with the fantastic backdrop of Leez Priory and its manicured lawns and lakes, it really was picture-perfect.

Like all weddings I have filmed, there was not a dull moment at any point. We were treated to an excellent firework display by local Colchester company, Dynamic Fireworks which managed to shower down on Leez Priory in beautiful colours.

We were fortunate enough to work alongside Simon from EPS Photography once again. It was a great opportunity to catch up and collaborate with ideas on how best to capture both Gemma & Ryan with a very snowy Leez Priory.

Many thanks once more to Gemma & Ryan for entrusting us to capture their special day on video. It was a pleasure to be their wedding videographer and I wish them all the very best for their future together. I look forward to producing more Leez Priory Wedding Videos in the future.

Alpheton Hall Barns Wedding Video: July 2017

It was our second time creating an Alpheton Hall Barns wedding video and we were very excited to be back. As soon as the enquiry came through for a wedding at Alpheton Hall Barns we checked the schedule and to our delight we were available. Alpheton Hall Barns provides the perfect setting for a wedding day. With the parish church right on its doorstep, you couldn’t ask for a more practical wedding day. The owner of the venue, Nick is an absolute delight to be around. Having worked with Nick at my previous wedding at Alpheton Hall Barns I knew it was going to be a joyous day.

Ashleigh began her bridal preparations at the beautiful Hall Barn in Long Melford, a short drive away from Alpheton Hall Barns. Duncan and his groomsmen finished off their preparations at The Swan, also in Long Melford.

The time soon came for Ashleigh to make her way to the barns in her stunning bridal car, accompanied by her father. As she entered the vicinity we made our way into the wooded area to capture the magical moment of the car arriving. This moment is always extra special at Alpheton Hall Barns due to the grand entrance which the car drives through past which can often be described as something similar to that of an enchanted forest.

The wedding ceremony commenced with a mixture of hymns, prayers in addition to readings. One of the hymns which Ashleigh & Duncan chose was the beauitful ‘I Vow To Thee My Country’. Before we knew it, Ashleigh & Duncan had exchanged their vowels of marriage and had both given one and other their beautiful wedding rings, they had become husband and wife.

Soon after exiting the church as husband and wife, both Ashleigh and Duncan were sprinkled with confetti by all of their family and friends which then signaled the start of the cocktail hour in addition to photos. After a few drinks, ourselves and Tracy Morter, the photographer, took the newlyweds off for newlywed shots.

Time was fast escaping us which meant it was time for the wedding speeches. One delivered each by Ashleigh’s father, Duncan himself and Duncan’s best man.

Soon afterwards, evening guests began to arrive and it was time to cut the cake and also perform a first dance. As Ashleigh & Duncan performed their first dance they were once again sprinkled with confetti.

Congratulations Ashleigh & Duncan on your fantastic wedding day! It is one that I am sure to remember. I look forward to creating another Alpheton Hall Barns wedding video in the future.
