Horsley Towers Wedding Videos: July 2018

When I first received a wedding videography enquiry from Anna & Gareth I was very excited with the prospect of adding wedding videos at Horsley Towers to my portfolio. Hidden within Surrey lays the beautiful Horsley Towers, also known as the De Vere Horsley Estate which is located near Guildford. It is one of the most beautiful and most elegant venues where I have produced a wedding video. Anna and Gareth chose to say ‘I do’ to one and other at this stunning venue which consists of beautiful countryside settings, a secret chapel as well as beautiful tiled cloisters. One cannot forget to mention the lake which also provides for a stunning backdrop with the mansion.

We left Essex early morning and arrived on site at around 9:30am leaving plenty of time for capturing those beautiful establishing shots and morning bridal/groom preparation shots, we managed to squeeze in a card reading for the video which worked wonders. Two readings took place during the wedding ceremony – it’s always great to incorporate these into the wedding video, especially ones with a lot of character! Once the formalities were over cocktail hour commenced.

After the happy couple had a few drinks we began exploring the grounds of Horsley Towers making use of the lake, the secret chapel and the outstanding backdrop of the 19th century mansion.

The speeches took place afterwards, lovely words said by all and we also got to hear some lines from Anna’s mum which was great! Gareth also shared the story of how they met and a few of his favorite memories. Once the speeches concluded the evening guests arrived for the cake cutting and the first dance. Firstly, what an amazing cake and secondly, what an awesome first dance! It was clear to all how much time and effort they had both put into rehearsing their routine. Nice work guys.

Congratulations Anna & Gareth. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to capture the beauty of your wedding day and Horsley Towers!

Crondon Park Wedding Videos: April 2018

The stunning Baronial Suite at Crondon Park is quoted as being ‘the best place to get married in Essex’. It certainly is a fierce competitor against others. Crondon Park Wedding Videos go to show this, especially Kat & Chris’s wedding film.

They were my second wedding of the year and what a truly lovely couple they were. One thing which I enjoy so much about being a wedding videographer is some of the people who I am fortunate enough to meet, Kat & Chris were no exception, not to forget to mention their son Dillon who looked very dapper in his suit!

The day started for me in Southend where I captured the morning bridal preparations of Kat and her party. It wasn’t all about the girls however.. both me and the photographer Katy also managed to get some great shots of young Dillon! He was quite the poser.

Davy my second shooter made his way to the Lion Inn Hotel to capture the shots of Chris with his groomsmen before the formalities of the day commenced.

The wedding day took place at Crondon Park which is close to Ingatestone in Essex. It was my first time working as a wedding videographer at Crondon Park which is always exciting. The venue features the stunning Baronial Hall which is where Kat & Chris said their vowels to each other with Dillon by their side.

After the ceremony had concluded cocktail hour commenced where we got some lovely natural shots of their guests enjoying the day.

Later on in the evening, there were two cake cuttings! One for the newlyweds and one for little Dillon to cut, a very lovely idea. Once the cake cutting had concluded we went onto the first dance and after the first dance, we went onto the ‘Dillion Dance’ where Dillon won a game of Musical Chairs, nice one Dillon!

Congratulations again to Kat & Chris on their lovely wedding day at Crondon Park. Thank you for allowing me to be your wedding videographer. I look forward to producing more Crondon Park Wedding Videos soon.

Vaulty Manor Wedding Videos: November 2017

Vaulty Manor Wedding Videos always look stunning, especially thanks to the beautifully restored 17th century Baronial Barn which is set in the peaceful area of Goldhanger, not far from Maldon in Essex.

It was my second time being at Vaulty Manor for a wedding! The first time I was actually a guest so it was great to be the wedding videographer at this one. Congratulations to Hannah & Adil on their special day. The entire day took place at Vaulty Manor so we had plenty of time to gets some lovely shots of the venue. My second shooter for this wedding was Darren. It was our first time filming a wedding together, it couldn’t have gone any better – I look forward to the next!

When I arrived I spent some time capturing my establishing shots, once complete I headed over to the beautiful bridal suite where Hannah and her closest family and friends were getting ready. Across the courtyard was Adil getting ready with his best man, Abdullah. Darren captured some lovely shots of their preparations and the great bond these two lovely gents have was clear to everyone.

We took the time to record both Hannah & Adil reading their cards to each other. This is always a nice touch for the wedding film.

Once the preparations were finished we headed over to the ceremony to capture shots of their guests arriving, shortly followed on by Hannah and her bridesmaids who all looked stunning.

After they had said their vowels and after their confetti had fallen it was soon time for the wedding speeches. Such genuine, lovely words were said by all. It was great to hear Adil share special memories he has with Hannah and also learn some great stories from Abdullah about his long friendship with Adil.

The evening guests began arriving at around 18:30 and provided us with some fantastic camera shots during the evening reception.

Hannah and Adil, thank you for trusting me to be your wedding videographer. I wish you all the very best for your future together. I look forward to more Vaulty Manor Wedding Videos in the future!

Leez Priory Wedding Videos: March 2018

Leez Priory wedding videos are always stunning so I was excited to be filming there! What an absolutely lovely wedding day for such a lovely couple out in the glorious Essex countryside. On March the 23rd, it was our pleasure to be able to capture Gemma & Ryan’s wedding day on video for them at the magnificent Tudor manor that is Leez Priory, just outside of the Chelmsford/Braintree area and just over an hour away from Central London. It was my first time filming at Leez Priory and I can’t wait to be back there later this year! It’s also worth mentioning that this was my first wedding film of 2018 following on from the last wedding season.

Due to the grand size of Leez Priory, it’s unsurprising that there are seven beautiful ceremony rooms which couples can choose to tie the knot in. Gemma & Ryan chose ‘The Great Hall’ which features charming beams with a feature fireplace.

We were greeted with reminiscences of the ‘Beast from the East’ which in turn, made for some fantastic establishing shots of Leez Priory in addition to special shots of the newlyweds. A big shout out must go to Gemma in particular who embraced the freezing temperatures which enabled us to get those shots of her in her dress with the fantastic backdrop of Leez Priory and its manicured lawns and lakes, it really was picture-perfect.

Like all weddings I have filmed, there was not a dull moment at any point. We were treated to an excellent firework display by local Colchester company, Dynamic Fireworks which managed to shower down on Leez Priory in beautiful colours.

We were fortunate enough to work alongside Simon from EPS Photography once again. It was a great opportunity to catch up and collaborate with ideas on how best to capture both Gemma & Ryan with a very snowy Leez Priory.

Many thanks once more to Gemma & Ryan for entrusting us to capture their special day on video. It was a pleasure to be their wedding videographer and I wish them all the very best for their future together. I look forward to producing more Leez Priory Wedding Videos in the future.
